The Bachelor of Science in Criminology is a four-year program exploring crime and the roles of justice agencies in responding to criminal activities, criminals, and victims.

The program aims to produce graduates who are professionally competent and morally upright, capable of providing efficient services in crime prevention, detection, investigation, law enforcement, public safety, custody and rehabilitation of offenders, and criminological research. Graduates possess the necessary knowledge, skills, attitude, and values to address criminality issues in the country and meet global challenges in criminal justice.

The B.S. in Criminology program holds Level II Re-accreditation from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Faculty members are registered criminologists, industry practitioners, and academic experts in Criminology and Criminal Justice, all holding relevant post-graduate degrees and undergoing continuous worldwide training.

By utilizing PCCR’s library, forensic laboratories, virtual crime scene simulator, and FELX (Fun and Exciting Learning Experience) as our learning management system, we ensure a comprehensive and modern educational experience that stands out as the most extensive among all higher education institutions offering the Criminology program in the Philippines.

Consistently recognized as a top-performing institution in the Professional Regulation Commission’s Criminologists’ Licensure Examination, PCCR’s graduates often secure multiple spots among the top 10 board takers.

A degree in Criminology sets students on the path to fulfilling various roles, such as a lawyer, police officer, jail officer, corrections officer, forensic specialist, data scientist, and more.
