Overview

The Philippine College of Criminology High School offers the complete Department of Education curriculum for Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10. 

Likewise, it also offers the ABM (Accountancy and Business Management), GA (General Academic), HumSS (Humanities and Social Science) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) learning strands for Grades 11 and 12.

Academic Tracks

Accountancy, Business and Management Strand

The Accountancy, Business, and Management Strand (ABM) prepares students for future opportunities to run and manage businesses by introducing basic subjects in Accountancy, Business, Management, Economics, Finance, and Marketing and to train them to cultivate their managerial, planning, and organizational skills. The ABM strand may lead to courses like, Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Entrepreneurship, Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Management, among other courses related to business.

General Academic Strand

The General Academic Strand (GA) gives the students the freedom to explore a wide range of interests through a variety of subjects. One of the attractive features of the GA strand is the opportunity for students to choose electives from the ABM, HumSS, and STEM strands, as well as in fields such as Art, Music, Computer Game Development, or Sports Science. The GA strand also helps students have a holistic understanding of art, social issues, practical mathematics, economics, and political science; and develop skills in research, management, disaster preparedness, and entrepreneurship, among others.

Humanities and Social Science Strand

The Humanities and Social Science Strand (HumSS) develops students’ ability to understand others through language, history, and culture. Subjects offered aim to promote critical thinking, creativity, and social skills. Students learn to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to influence human behavior, society, and culture. Careers related to HumSS include criminology, psychology, paralegal, teaching, creative writing, journalism, sociology, are among others.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Strand

The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Strand (STEM) is preparatory to science-related courses in college by deepening their grasp of concepts in Math and Science through lessons in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. Subjects in the STEM strand train students to solve problems, make sense of information, and gather and evaluate evidence to make data-backed decisions. The STEM strand integrates learning through interdisciplinary studies that harness problem-solving, critical analysis, and innovation.

For Incoming Grade 7 Students:

Primary:

  1. One (1) 2X2 I.D. picture (to be uploaded during enlistment)
  2. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be presented for verification only)
  3. Original and photocopy of Form 137 from previous junior high school attended (if already available)
  4. Original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of Grade 10 (if already available) signed by the principal. (If not yet available, original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of Grade 5 signed by the principal.)

Secondary Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous school attended
  2. Photocopy of Diploma (Certificate of Completion)

For Transferees (Grade 8 to Grade 10):

Primary:

  1. One (1) 2X2 I.D. picture (to be uploaded during enlistment)
  2. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be presented for verification only)
  3. Original and photocopy of Form 137 from previous junior high school attended (if already available)
  4. Original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of previous grade level signed by the principal

Secondary Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous school attended

For Grade 10 Completers and Government Voucher Program Holders and ESC Grantees:

Primary:

  1. One (1) 2X2 I.D. picture (to be uploaded during enlistment)
  2. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be presented for verification only)
  3. Certificate of Qualified Voucher Recipient (QVR) or Educational Service
  4. Contracting (ESC) Certificate, whichever is applicable
  5. Original and photocopy of Form 137 of Grades 7-10 (if already available)
  6. Original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of Grade 10 (if already available) signed by the principal

Secondary Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous school attended
  2. NCAE results

For Non-Voucher Holders:

Primary:

  1. One (1) 2X2 I.D. picture (to be uploaded during enlistment)
  2. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be presented for verification only)
  3. Original and photocopy of Form 137 of Grades 7-10 (if already available)
  4. Original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of Grade 10 (if already available) signed by the principal

For Grade 12 Transferees:

Primary:

  1. One (1) 2X2 I.D. picture (to be uploaded during enlistment)
  2. Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate (original to be presented for verification only)
    1. If from a public school: Certificate of Qualified Voucher Recipient (QVR) or Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Certificate, whichever applicable;
    2. If you are from private school: Certificate of Eligibility from PEAC
  3. Original and photocopy of Form 137 of Grades 7-10 and Grade 11 (if already available)
  4. Original and photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of Grade 10 (if already available) signed by the principal

Secondary Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous school attended
  2. NCAE results
